Colwinston Village Hall

The village hall hosts a wide range of community events from regular slots like Tai Chi or the Youth Club to special events like the Christmas panto, fireworks night or the village fete.

It has a committee room, main hall with stage, kitchen and toilets and can host 130 people dancing and 145 people seated.

CLIC

CLIC is a very informal group of crafts people who meet regularly, sometimes to chat about what could be done next and sometimes to actually do things.Between us we have a wide range of talents that we are happy to share with each other.

 

We meet between 10am till 2pm.  Tea, coffee and cake provided.

Colwinston & Llysworney Hive

A women's group, working and socialising together to bring support and friendship to each other and the wider community. We meet on the second Monday of every month at 7.00 pm at the Village Hall, with  a guest speaker , tea and cake. Associated with the group we have  walks every Monday, a craft group, book group and coffee and chat. 


 

The Sycamore Tree Pub

Old Ford Project

The Old Ford Project is a voluntary community group established to restore, manage and maintain a wetland, meadowland and woodland area working collaboratively with Colwinston Community Council. 

Colwinston Cricket Club

During the season the Colwinston CC can usually be found on the village field (next to the village hall) around 6pm on a Friday evening.

Village Panto

An annual tradition in the village hall.
 

Colwinston Cinema

Showing a range of films throughout the year to suit every cinematic taste. A licensed bar is open to provide liquid refreshment. Look out for adverts of upcoming films on the Colwinston Village Facebook page.

Petanque Club

For anyone interested in knowing more about the village Petanque club then come along to their monthly melee (social) at the village hall at 7pm on Monday. Play some indoor petanque, enjoy a social glass of wine and a chat with some of our club members.

We always welcome potential new members and you never know, you may discover a hidden talent!
